Zibärtle nennt man im Badischen das Destillat aus der Zibarte, der wilden Bergpflaume, auch Gallenpflaume genannt.
Die Früchte sind von bitterherbem Geschmack und zum Verzehr nicht unbedingt geeignet, ganz im Gegenteil zum Destillat, welches im Geschmack vom Feinsten ist, an Mandeln und Marzipan erinnert, aber sonst mit nichts vergleichbar.
Bei einer Trinktemperatur von 16°C-18°C entfaltet sich das Aroma am besten.
